Indian drinks, Aam Panna


Nowadays soft drinks, fizzy drinks and other such assorted drinks are a rage. These drinks that are artificially manufactured are being taken in by a large degree of people these days. However, prolonged consumption of such drinks just might lead to health complications. In India itself there is a huge amount of people who are stuck onto soft drinks and others of its ilk. As has been mentioned before, such drinks are not always good for health and might cause several problems in the near future. There is however a solution. One can always go for naturally made Indian drinks. Aam Panna is one of those old and rare drinks that still garner a huge response from all sections of Indian crowd. It is hygienic and at the same time non-artificial and purely natural.

A total of 6 Green Mangoes that are all medium sized, 33/4th cup of water, one tea spoon of grounded and dry-roasted Cumin Seed that is also known as Jeera, half a tea spoon of red chili powder, one tea spoon of salt, a dozen crushed ice-cubes, 3 tea spoons each of mint leaves and sugar. The mangoes are to be placed with water in a sauce-pan and then boiled and then it is simmered for about 10 minutes. The mangoes are then peeled and the stone as well as the pulp are separated. The mango's pulp is placed in a deep bowl. The other ingredients like water, salt, sugar, chili and cumin are all added and later whisked properly. The mint is stirred and whisked again. The entire solution is placed in a jug and served with crushed ice.
