Soups are served as appetizers before you start your full course meals. Although served and savored in all seasons, soups have their special appeal during the winter season. The very sight of the steam winding up from a soup bowl and blending with air stimulates our taste buds. One among these popular soups is the Chicken Shorba. It not only tastes delicious it is very simple to prepare. The items required for chicken shorba include boneless shredded chicken (100 gm), chicken stock (half kg), one tablespoon of finely chopped garlic, white floor, oil, cumin seeds, fresh cream, and two tablespoon of butter. To this you can add salt and pepper according to your taste. Start with heating the butter and frying the shredded chicken pieces until they become tender. In another pan put cumin seeds in the heated oil, and add chopped garlic. Saute for some time before you add white flour. After a minute add the shredded chicken and chicken stock, salt, and pepper. Keep stirring for 4 to 5 minutes before you add the cream to it. Serve it hot and enjoy the taste.
