Mango Recipes


Mangoes are widely used for preparing various kinds of recipes. Mango recipes differ in the taste and special flavor they have. Fresh mangoes are mostly used for making mango recipes.

The tropical aroma of mangoes makes the mango recipes delicious, especially when added with several other ingredients. Unripe mangoes have no scent, but are used for making mango recipes along with coconut, oil, mustard etc. drinks are made of mangoes mixing with sugar, milk etc. and are used in summer as juices and milk shakes.

Mango recipes including yogurt and salads use fresh mangoes in its original form. Adding mangoes to smoothie will give a tropical taste to the dish. Pickles are the most commonly found dishes made from mangoes.

Mixing mangoes with cream to make fruit salads is another commonly found use of mangoes. Mangoes could be peeled off and the flesh can be used for making a variety of dishes. Sugar, milk and water in different mixing ratios will give delicious dishes when mango is added to it in peeled or cut form.

Keep mangoes in refrigerator only after they are ripe, because mangoes will not ripe in fridges. Cut mangoes can be kept inside plastic bags only for three days. Temperature is highly important for proper storage of mangoes for making recipes.
