Ramzan Eid Recipes


Muslims from all around the world all celebrate Ramzan Id with great show and pomp. The day of Ramzan denotes the end of Ramadan. This is the 9th month according to the Islamic calendar. In this month, as the legend goes, the Holy Quran was revealed to the great and holy Prophet Mohammed. This day also marks the completion of a fast that goes on for a month. This 'fast-break' is determined after the new moon rises up in the sky. This festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm as well as with much pomp just like the Id-Ul-Fitr and this means that the 'the fast is over'. There are many mouth watering recipes available during this time and Ramzan Eid recipes are all really savored by people from every religion.

Chicken Shashlik is one such popular Ramzan recipe that can be made with a little patience. The end product is extremely delicious and never fails to impress a foodie. Some of the ingredients that make this dish and make it what it is are half a kilo of boneless breast of chicken, a couple of capsicums two medium sized onions and two medium tomatoes. A quarter cup of lemon juice is needed along with half a tea spoon of salt. Other ingredients also include black pepper, Soya sauce and hot sauce.
