Sauce Recipes

Often when you have guests at home you start wondering about the menu. At times like these you can add some spicy sauce to your dishes to add that extra zing. You can try out the hot sauce which is mainly a combination of distilled white vinegar, salt, and chopped cayenne or jalapenos seeds. All you need to do is simmer the white vinegar, mixed with salt and pepper for five minutes and put it in the mixture. Once done, use a glass bottle to store the sauce, and choose dark corner to keep it. Take it out after 3 months and strain it before you start using it.

If you are more akin to BBQ sauces, then you can prepare one very easily. Simply chop a couple of onions, take 2 cups of ketchup (use your favorite one), a little bit of brown sugar (1/4 cup), and some apple cedar vinegar (1/4 cup). You will also need a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a bit of chili powder as per your taste preference. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients with sautéed onions and allow the mixture to get thick. This might take you around 15 minutes in a low heat.
